Role: Senior Mobile Application Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer to join our dynamic tech team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge mobile applications primarily for the iOS platform while also possessing strong capabilities in other mobile environments such as Android. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of mobile app development, a track record of successful projects, and a passion for pushing mobile technologies to their limits. You will work closely with other talented developers, designers, and product managers to deliver outstanding mobile applications that meet our company's needs and exceed our users' expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform while also supporting Android and other mobile platforms as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Lead the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post-launch support.
• Mentor junior developers and perform code reviews.

Requirements:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Proven working experience in iOS development with a strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store.
• Deep familiarity with Swift and Objective-C.
• Experience with other platforms such as Android, using Kotlin or Java is highly preferred.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Strong understanding of design principles and interface guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to push innovative solutions.
• Eligible to work in the United States

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Master’s Degree (optional but preferred): A master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Additional Certifications and Training:

• Mobile Development Certifications: For iOS, certifications like Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACiT) or a certification in Swift programming. For Android, Google’s Associate Android Developer certification can be a plus.
• Continuous Learning: Platforms: Coursera, Udemy, or Pluralsight in mobile app development.
• Cross-Platform Development Tools: Knowledge or certification in cross-platform tools like React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin for multi-platform development skills.

Relevant Experience and Skills:

• Experience: Several years of experience (5+ years) in mobile application development are expected. This includes extensive hands-on development and deployment of applications, particularly for the iOS platform, and ideally for other platforms like Android.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio of released applications on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store that showcases a range of applications developed or contributed to significantly.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in programming languages such as Swift and Objective-C for iOS development. Experience with Java or Kotlin for Android development is also often required. Additional skills in using major mobile development frameworks and environments are expected.
• Project Management: Experience in leading projects, coordinating with other developers, and guiding junior developers through the development process.
